RAILROADS
TK projekt successfully lead and/or cooperated on vast railroad projects. Some examples:
- Implementation of GSM-R system and subsystems for Slovenian railroads. Design and planning documentation included planning for entire system of GSM-R including control and protection, train driver – regulation centre communication, dispatch system, information relay system, synchroniza-tion, network planning, security and base station and telecommunication centers design.
- Design for communication and power grid for GSM-R included complete fiber optics and power cable system and planning documentation along railways in Slovenia.
- Design and project documentation for railroad cable system along Tecer-Kangal railroad, in Turkey
- Design and project documentation for ADSS fiber optic cable on 25 kV overhead contact system Podgorica – Bar – Črna Gora/Montenegro,
- Level crossing security and signaling (fail safe) infrastructure in various locations

Base stations for GSM and UMTS networks
We provide complete range of design and planning documentation for GSM and UMTS infrastructure. TK projekt has provided design and building documentation for all mobile operators in Slovenia, individual designs and building permits for more than 200 base stations.
In Kosovo we have also provided detailed designs for complete GSM network consisting of 25 various types of Base stations, tower types and foundation types.
We also provided Building permit design documentation auditing for approximately 130 BTS for different operators
Telecommunication networks
Our company has finished designs for all types of telecommunication networks, including fiber optics, copper, aerial cable canalization, trunk cables etc. We specialize in fiber optics networks and have been a part of implementation of fiber optics system in Slovenia cooperating with Telekom Slo-
venia in finding suitable types and solutions.

Road and highway power systems, street lighting infrastructure etc
In the field of road and freeway power systems we provide complete detailed designs for street lighting, emergency call/SOS system infrastructure, toll and customs power and telecommunication infrastructure, displacement and protection of power lines etc..
We completed several projects including:
- Project documentation for moving of the regional freeway communication hub (Grič) to a new regional control centre (Dragomelj) – Fibre optic and copper cable system RNC Bypass Ptuj – street lighting infrastructure

Auditing and design review
We also provide auditing and supervison of design and planning documentation. We provide revision of telecommunications and electrical installation designs and project documentation according to the Slovenian Construction Act, or applicable legislature of each country.
